What medications can I take before my surgery?
ACT Anaesthesia has medication guidelines developed by our anaesthetists. If you are sent a Medical questionnaire or survey, please make sure you advise the name, dose, and time of day you take the medication. This includes all medications, such as blood thinners, diabetic medication, aspirin, anti-inflammatories, and vitamins. You will be advised by your surgeon or their nursing staff as to how to manage those medications.
